Snack TAVANIA, Vairao
If you are visiting the Tahiti peninsula, you absolutely must stop at the Snack Tavania de Vairao, located near the town hall of Vairao. The cuisine is unpretentious but excellent, generous and inexpensive: tuna tartare, sashimi, tuna carpaccio, raw fish with coconut milk, mahi mahi and more. The young owner Hono always has a smile on her face. A very good address.
Open every day for lunch, it is always packed, we advise you to book your table (and your dish). Hono manages the room, orders and cash alone, so if she doesn't answer, call back.
